Behind the scenes at Woodchester Mansion…

We are so excited to tell you about our amazing time at Woodchester Mansion last week! Where to begin??….

After months of planning, we decided to shoot our 2016 ‘Shakespeare in Love’ collection at the fabulous spooky Woodchester Mansion, Gloucestershire. Tracey and I visited the Mansion back in september and were blown away with the stunning natural light contrasting against the original unfinished interiors of the mansion. The charm of the Cotswold stone enhancing the raw natural beauty of a time gone by encapsulating everything we wanted for the shoot.

Location confirmed, now to secure all our favourite talented little bees, firstly the gifted Tasha Newland owner of Ikonworks Photography in Hampshire.

We were totally blown away by Tasha’s amazing photos at the ‘Penton Park’ shoot back in July, especially the gorgeous image of our ‘Peony’ dress from 2015 ‘Eden Collection’. We knew that with Tasha’s incredible talent we would be able to capture the true essence of our new collection.

PeonySo with Tasha confirmed we also were able to nab the lovely artistic Sharon Dawson (Eyecandy) make-up & hair and super creative Will Eagles (Cream Hairdressing) to turn our already gorgeous models into etherial goddesses.

Last but not least was the task of finding our ‘faces’…

Sophie Waldron (our stunning model featured on the peony images) said YES!!

Everything was in place…

The morning before the shoot, due to circumstances beyond our control we were one model down!  We were so thankful and relieved when the gorgeous Rachel Heatherington out of nowhere popped her head into Chanticleer HQ the morning before the shoot and agreed to be our model once again, DISASTER AVERTED ( a very relieved Kate slept that night)!! 🙂

Only one thing left to do… Tracey needed to finish her final dress and with minutes to spare, the dress was completed and the shoot all good to go!

Busy busy bees….

Sorry we’ve been a little absent over the past month on the blog, this was due to a crazy month of wedding fairs, finishing the much-anticipated ‘2016 Shakespeare in love’ collection and photographing it ready for release very soon!!!

We are so excited to reveal our hard work over the fast few months, and hope you will love it as much as we do!

Lets start at the beginning….

We attended a few Wedding Fairs at the start of October, these are a great way to meet lovely newly engaged brides and their partners as well as networking with various wedding suppliers!

At ‘Tortworth Court’ near Bristol, we met the lovely Ellie and her daughter, a very talented florist! After chatting to her during the day, Ellie agreed to create us some special flower crowns for our upcoming photo shoot at the end of the month. We are so excited to see what wonderful creations she comes up with!

Our next fair was held at ‘The Greenway Hotel’ Shurdington. This was a stunning venue set in the heart of the Cotswolds. It was lovely bumping into a few of our brides and again meeting a few new ones!

Our Final shows this year were held at ‘Manor by the Lake’ in Cheltenham and ‘Dumbleton Hall’ near Evesham on the Sunday 18th October. As well as all the madness at Chanti HQ with the collection coming to its end, we now had a catwalk to organise for Manor by the Lake (talk about taking on a little too much)….

Tracey attended Dumbleton Hall, whilst Sophia and I took on Manor by the Lake. It was an extremely long day, but we had so much fun putting on the catwalk and inspiring  the brides (and a few grooms) with our gorgeous dresses… even if one of our models nearly tripped and fell out the changing room half naked… 🙂

We have a new Stockist…

At the beginning of the month we had the pleasure of welcoming ‘Wedding Belles of Otley’ to our gorgeous Chanticleer HQ, where we showcased our collections to the lovely Kellie and her family!

Its always exciting to have a new stockist on board, and to get feedback from them on the collections.

We spent the afternoon going through the different gowns Kellie had selected for her shop, then range building with Tracey her top 8 from her original 15 favourites….a grueling task for Kellie.

We are excited to say Kellie picked two dresses from our up and coming 2016 collection ‘Shakespeare in Love’ which we will reveal later in the year.

But for now, here is a sneak peek of ‘Amelia’ which will be available to buy from ‘Wedding Belles of Otley’ later in the year.
